Hi, I’m Carl, husband, dad, traveller, and planner in chief behind our family adventures. My wife and I have spent years exploring Europe and beyond by motorcycle, on foot, and by bicycle, chasing great views, authentic food, and unforgettable experiences.

These days, we travel as a family of three with our adventurous three year old in tow. Our love for discovering new places and meeting new people hasn’t changed; it’s just evolved. We’ve learned that with good planning, realistic expectations, and a few contingencies, travelling with a toddler isn’t just possible, it’s deeply rewarding.

I’m a self-confessed travel planner who believes a great trip starts long before you leave home. From mapping out the perfect motorcycle route through mountain passes to finding that hidden local restaurant with the best seafood and a sunset cocktail view, I make sure nothing is missed.

Every year, I take a motorcycle off-roading trip to a new country, blending adventure with culture by meeting locals, tasting regional dishes, and riding incredible roads and off-road trails.

I’ve tried using AI travel planners before, but none of them can uncover the small, lesser-known restaurants or unique historic sites that let you truly escape the main tourist traps. AI can offer travel itineraries, but there’s no substitute for talking with someone who really understands travel and takes the time to get to know you as a person to craft a truly unique travel experience.

Whether it’s a laid-back beach escape, a city break, or a rough-and-ready adventure, we love it all as long as it’s real, well-planned, and full of flavour. This website grew from my passion for making travel smoother, richer, and more achievable for others who want the same balance of adventure and ease.
